Good morning, Hudson, and happy Saturday. It's 90 today with scattered storms, and the pattern holds right through Wednesday, so keep the plans flexible and the umbrella close.

A little housekeeping before the weekend gets going. The Sheriff's Office announced Friday that one of its corporals has been arrested on charges involving a minor, and Sheriff Nocco said the case appears to be isolated. Separately, Florida now has 73 locally acquired dengue cases, almost all of them in Hillsborough, and health officials are asking everyone to dump the standing water around the house. Pasco County also wants storm-affected residents who already took FEMA money to check whether its Better Future program can help with the rest, and the Sheriff's Office is hiring part time school crossing guards.

Then the fun part. The Front Porch Art Walk is on in Hernando Beach this morning, the Hummus Truck is at the Trinity farmers market, and the Sun West Seafood and Crab Festival runs all day Sunday right here in Hudson. Live music both nights, plus Remedy at Sam's on Labor Day afternoon. Enjoy the long weekend.
