Inside Hudson, Issue #19
September 20, 2026

Good morning, Hudson. It's 88 today with an isolated storm possible, and the rain chances climb tomorrow, so get the outdoor plans in early.

The county has signed off on about $235 million for hurricane repair and flood work, and two of the first projects on the list are ours: the Hudson Library renovation, already underway, and stormwater improvements out in Sea Pines. The money covers damage from Idalia, Helene and Milton, and the county has five years to spend it.

Heads up for parents: Freedom Week starts tomorrow across Pasco schools, so expect themed days and a Declaration of Independence reading every morning through Friday. And if you want somewhere to be today, the Sunday Brunch Market runs 10 to 3 on County Line Road.
