Good morning, Hudson. Happy Friday, and welcome to a long weekend. Expect 91 today with scattered storms, and more of the same right through Tuesday, so plan the outdoor stuff around the afternoons.

A few things worth knowing before Monday: county offices, rec complexes and community centers are closed for Labor Day, though the parks and beaches stay open, and there's no school Monday either. Pasco students are also kicking off a reading challenge with a district goal of 20 million minutes.

The weekend is a good one. Jeep and Truck Night with Remedy at Circle S tonight, the Front Porch Art Walk in Hernando Beach on Saturday, and the Sun West Seafood and Crab Festival in Hudson on Sunday. Three food trucks out tonight and 10 live music sets between now and Sunday. Enjoy the long weekend.
